Kingsoft, one of the most prestigious software powerhouse in China, held
a product launch for Japanese version of Kingsoft Antivirus in Tokyo
Wednesday.

Chinanews, Tokyo, Sept. 14 (by Teng Jianfeng) - Kingsoft, one of the most
prestigious software powerhouse in China, held a product launch for
Japanese version of Kingsoft Antivirus in Tokyo Wednesday.
Kingsoft has therefore become the first Chinese software company that
have entered the Japanese market.
The Japanese version of Kingsoft Antivirus is a new product of the
company developed on the basis of its Chinese version.
In order to promote its first antivirus product in Japan, Kingsoft
decided to offer one million times of free download in the country for
one year free trial. This service has been launched at the company's
Japanese website at 16:00 local time on the same day.
During the product launch, Kingsoft's CEO Lei Jun said that Japan
provides probably the best intellectual property protection in the world.
It is also one of the largest antivirus software markets with the
fiercest competition.
Kingsoft will rely on its powerful technological research and development
faculty and rich experience in the international market and seek to
promote its high-quality products in the Japanese market by means of
establishing a joint venture in Japan and finally go public in Japan.
