Gross domestic product (GDP)
GDP for 2004 was 295.948 billion yuan, up 11.5% from the previous year.

GDP ratio (primary, secondary and tertiary industries)
The primary industry yielded a value added of 60.433 billion yuan, 5.6%
more than that of the previous year; the secondary industry, 131.419
billion yuan, a growth of 15.0%; the tertiary industry, 104.096 billion
yuan, a growth of 10.7%. The proportion of the three sectors is 20.4:
44.4: 35.2.

Revenue
Provincial revenue was 66.63 billion yuan, an increase of 20.2% over the
previous year.

Consumer price index (CPI)
CPI was up 6.0% from the previous year.

Investment in fixed assets
Fixed asset investment was valued at 133.1 billion yuan, up by 30.3%
from the previous year.
